He knew the backroads of America like the back of his hand, and impressively visited all 50 states with his wife, Mary, during their retirement. He was happiest surrounded by friends, all of whom he treated as family, kicking back with a cold beer, or “orange”, as he would call them. He had a great sense of humor and an incredible zest for life.
